ULT invites to the “air quality days”

ULT invites to the “air quality days”

Traditional event “ULT Symposium” continues under a new name

On 12/13 May 2026, ULT will host its ninth technology and innovation event, now called “air quality days.” The biennial event, formerly known as the “ULT Symposium,” not only has a new look but also a revised format.

Previously, the event primarily consisted of presentations and an accompanying exhibition from companies, institutes, and partners. Starting in 2026, more emphasis will be placed on practical topics.

Participants can further their knowledge in dedicated workshops on topics such as explosion protection, standards and guidelines for CMR substances, cost-effective design of filter systems, and practical demonstrations of applications using extraction and filter technology. They will receive certificates that serve as continuing education documentation.

The lecture sessions cover practical topics such as air technology in additive manufacturing and battery production, Manufacturing-X, technical cleanliness, new technologies in laser applications, and interface connectivity via the new OPC UA standard.

Overall, a comprehensive program of lectures and workshops will take place, culminating in a joint evening event with live music and a few surprises.

As is the case every two years, the goal for 2026 is to make the 'air quality days' a climate-neutral event. In this context, ULT will offer various services, such as shuttle services for guests. To mark a pledge made at the 2024 event, 120 silver firs were planted – one for each participant. The organizers hope to surpass this number in 2026. Continuing the tree planting program is a clearly defined objective.

Registration for the 2026 air quality days is possible via the registration form at www.air-quality-days.de, or by email to marketing@ult.de, or by phone at +49 3585 41280.

The participation fee is €99. Students and pupils receive free admission.
