Compact and powerful solution for process gas purification in metal-based 3D printing
At the formnext trade show, ULT introduced the AMF 100, a new compact and gas-tight gas purification system. This mobile and flexible solution is suitable for all inert gases (e.g., nitrogen, argon, helium).
Based on ULT's unique drum technology, the AMF 100 offers contamination-free filter handling, meaning operators never come into contact with particles or condensates generated during metal-based additive manufacturing.
In addition to the contamination-free storage of process contaminants as well as safe and efficient energy and resource management, the system offers very high filtration performance by HEPA H14 filter elements.

AMF 100 for LPBF processes
The passivable storage filters guarantee the safe containment of highly flammable and hazardous process byproducts. The filtration system can also be easily adapted to changing processes or materials.
The AMF 100 is also equipped with the new ULT ProSight™ control system. It offers users an intuitive and clear operating design with a large touchscreen display, enabling detailed setting and analysis options for the demand-oriented operation of the extraction system.
Due to its compact design of 400 x 700 x 760 mm, the AMF 100 requires minimal floor space. Thanks to its UL compliance and a wide voltage range of 90–250 VAC, the device can be used globally without special modifications.
