ULT App extraction calculator
The ULT app was developed to determine air velocities in ducts at specific flow rates in extraction and filtration systems.
It is a simple and effective tool to support technicians and planners in making an initial assessment of the required extraction and filtration system technology on-site. It also allows designers to obtain rough designs of the expected ducting requirements.
The app calculates the air velocity based on the user's pipe diameter and flow rate specifications. Furthermore, the application suggests a suitable product for the specific extraction situation. Furthermore, the ULT app can calculate the required extraction performance based on the system's pressure losses.
Other features of the extraction calculator include the pressure loss per meter of duct, the calculation of the required energy consumption and air heating for a given pressure loss, the calculation of the energy required to heat or cool the air, and the conversion from Pascal to mBar.
